"Oil Lamp Study 2" by Charlotte Coven Art

A glazed study of an oil lamp I found in my home, I spent lots of attention on portraying the light reflections in the glass. Painting light reflections like these is something I had never attempted before this assignment.

My professor told me that I had great attention to detail, also mentioned that this was a difficult subject, and said I “tackled it well”. I appreciated how they said I had a very “methodical” approach to painting.
